Oct. 22, 2014, National Day of Protest against Police Brutality at Public Square, Cleveland, Ohio

On October 22, 2014, the National Day of Protest against Police Brutality, a march and rally were the first major Protest actions of Puncture the Silence-Stop Mass Incarceration. A wide array of people met up at the Women’s Northeast Reintegration Center at E. 30th and Orange Ave. They marched to Public Square and held a speakout as some people protested from the fabricated “jail cell”. People working with the Revolutionary Communist Party brought memorial posters of many of the Stolen Lives over the years in Greater Cleveland.
