John Sanders was shot by a Cuyahoga County Sheriff during the May 30, 2020 uprising in Cleveland,OH, against the police murder of George Floyd. His friend, Max Morris, and other protesters, like William Kiely Cronin, a photographer, came to his aid. Sanders lost one of his eyes in the attack. In the video Cronin points out there was no warning to disperse.
